Watching the grass grow, now that is Exciting!
From all the wet and cold weather the green could be in better shape at this stage of the year, but with a week of warm weather it has really improved out of sight recently. For those of you frequenting the club you will notice the covers being placed over the green, these are being used for the colder weeks (and especially some of the cold nights we have been having). It is important to keep the soil temprature up so that the green continues to grow for as long as possible before winter sets in. The covers come back off during the warmer days & weeks.
It is a bit of a waiting game at the moment. The green will continue to grow until it goes dormant for winter and at that point we will know what coverage we have.
We will keep you updated with progress.
