RINK HIRE

We normally suggest up to 20-25 people per rink. If you exceed these numbers, you simply hire an additional rink or more.

The cost to hire a rink for lawn bowls is $200 (two hours). The cost is $20 per person for groups with less than 10 people attending.

In the event that the bowling rink/green or the petanque piste is closed (generally due to inclement weather, urgent works required to be undertaken or vandalism) then your full rink hire will be refunded. The green is only deemed closed if torrential rain occurs.

Please be aware that light rain/showers will not close our green and visitors are expected to dress according to the forecasted weather conditions.

The Club requires written notification of cancellations 7 days prior to your booking in order for a full refund to be issued.

The Club has a large indoor bar to seek refuge in if the weather turns sour. The bar is equipped with a pool table and dart boards.

A bowling session is for a two hour duration. You can book a double session if need be. We do not offer half session times.

The bowling session times are typically 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm. You cannot adjust the session times unfortunately.

No shoes are to be worn on the green at all times. It is strictly “barefoot bowls”.

The Club provides a bowling instructor upon your arrival for each group. The instructor provides guidance on how to play lawn bowls, the rules and regulations involved.

The Club provides large commercial umbrellas outside to help shelter from the weather. We also provide sunscreen to visitors in the warmer months. There is an air conditioned indoor bar that is also accessible to everyone.

This is a fully licensed venue so we do not permit any BYO alcohol or soft drinks and we do not offer any drinks packages. You can simply set up a bar tab on arrival or purchase drinks individually over the bar.

FUNCTION ROOM HIRE

The cost to hire the function room is $500. Discounts are available for members and not for profit /charity events. Please enquire.

The function room is available to hire from 12pm-5pm or 6pm-12am.

The self contained function room is equipped with a fully functional kitchen including an oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. You will have access to a PA System. ( The PA system is a BEHRINGER mixing desk (XENTY X 2442USB 24 INPUT) We have 4 light cans and a 4 channel controller, microphones, speakers and a projector also available for your event. You can play your own music through a laptop or phone. There are three round tables, 15 trestle tables and chairs available for you to use. You will also be provided with bar staff for your event. (the number of guests attending, will determine the number of staff allocated).

Currently we do not serve any food here on the premises. You can outsource your catering, self cater, hire one of our BBQ’s or use one of our preferred caterers. Food trucks are also a very popular catering option. You will also have full access to our fully equipped kitchen.

Yes you are more than welcome to decorate the function space for your event. Please be aware of setup/pack up times.

Yes any hired equipment can be collected the following day after your event during Club opening hours. (Refer to opening hours provided)

Yes you can absolutely hire a band or a DJ for your event. You must arrange your own band or DJ though.

You can set up a bar tab for your event. You can either set up a bar tab on arrival or arrange a “function dry till” as a pre-set amount. In order to set up a tab on arrival, we will request to hold your driver’s license and credit card for the duration of your event. We do not accept AMEX cards over the bar.

BBQ HIRE

The cost to hire a BBQ is $30.

The BBQ session duration is for two hours.

You can hire the BBQ for a double session (four hours).

Yes you need to provide your own cutlery, napkins, paper plates and sauce.

The Club provides BBQ utensils (tongs, knife, spatula, BBQ flipper, BBQ cloth and cooking oil).

You are allocated a table in front of your bowling rink or next to your BBQ on arrival.

We provide cleaning products for your use if time permits.

Yes there is a fridge or commercial cool room that you can store your food in if necessary.

There is a kitchen that can be accessed in the function room for food preparation if the function room is not booked at the time of your event.

Yes there are salad bowls and platters available for use if necessary.

PISTE HIRE

The cost to hire the piste area is $250.

The Club provides bowls (“boules”) to visitors. We simply request your driver’s license on arrival to hold as a form of deposit for the duration of your session.

Penatnque can be played individually or more frequently in teams of two or three.

There is a BBQ, tables and chairs in the Petanque area for your use. The ideal area for a larger gathering of people.

There is no prescribed time frame for that area to be hired, therefore allowing you further flexibility with the booking.
